Akbük at a glance
Akbük is a neighbourhood of Didim on the bay that gives it its name. According to Didim Municipality, its roughly 11 km of coastline holds dozens of small coves, with Saplı Ada, Bozbük and Kazıklı Bay among the busiest spots. The municipality also notes that Akbük is one of the first places British buyers choose for their homes.

- Didim town: 20.1 km (~24 min), past Denizköy and Fevzipaşa.
- Altınkum: beach and evenings out, just south of Didim centre — Altınkum taxi.
- Söke and Izmir: the Akbük junction joins the Söke–Milas road.
